Russh came today & I am thrilled to read it after flicking through the shoot with Canadian doll-faced beauty Jessica Stam. Stam at the age of 25 is 15th on the World's Top Earning Supermodels list and will continue climbing with her porcelain skin & eclectic style.

Discovered at International Model Management Agency in a local coffee shop, on her way back from a theme park, the now 25 year model has appeared in advertisements for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Vera Wang, Valentine, Miu Miu, Prada and Dolce&Gabbana just to name a few. As the face on the 2005 cover of German Vogue, Stam was then booked for 54 shows that Summer.

Currently dating 42 year old Anthony Keidis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and having a Marc Jacobs named after her - Stam bag - she also appeared in a short film Agent Orange.

From her upbringings of wanting to be a dentist in a highly religious family of 9 (6 brothers) Stam has definatly taken the world by storm.

The death of McQueen will always linger, even after only a year, hence why his visionary will be showing at a retrospective of his work entitled Alexander McQueen; Savage Beauty at the NY met. The whimsical sculpture-like designs of McQueen's fashions as an art form, explore the darker side of McQueen and his extreme creativity within that of his designs and as well as his delicate application of fabrics to create spectacular garments.

Part Andy Warhol, part colour blocking, part rave party, the hair extensions, fluroescence, sequins and the trademark companies we know (Coca-Cola) Jeremy Scott mixes colours with glam and recontextualises what it is to be young. 

Inspired by this i've already purchased my fanta coloured O/S singlet to wear over maxi's.

I am adoring the use of literally colour blocking all in the one colour. I've always worn all white or black but with Autumn, comes the new season colours or Burnt Orange, Maroon, Mauve & Navy Blue. I will definatly be looking for chambray's & shirts in all aspects of the rainbows to match with my jeans.

The lacework and intricate one off designs of Aman Stovall, are so detailed and delicate like a fairies wings. The curvaceous designs are flattering to all, & replicate that of Lagerfield’s use of fabrics as a simple artform. I absolutely adore every single of their designs & can’t wait until I have an abundance of money & can afford the adorable collection.
